GianoPasskey smart wallet

A blockchain walletyour customers already know how to use.

Built for fintechs bringing mainstream customers on-chain

One tap, no wallet to install

Your customers shouldn’t have to become crypto users to use your product.

Your customers shouldn’t have to become crypto users to use your product.

A traditional blockchain wallet asks customers to leave your product, install new software, create a wallet, secure a seed phrase and buy a token to pay transaction fees. Every extra step is another opportunity to lose them.

Giano replaces that journey with a passkey.

Self-custody, made simple.

Giano is a self-custodial smart wallet embedded inside your app, under your brand and on your domain. Customers sign in with a passkey using the same face scan or fingerprint they already use on their device.

Passkeys also protect customers from phishing. They only work on the domain they were created for, so a passkey for your real site cannot be used on a convincing copy.

Transaction fees

Sponsor fees for the transactions you approve, so customers never need to buy or hold a gas token. You decide which transactions you fund.

Networks

Deploy Giano across EVM networks without tying your product to a single chain. Giano also works with Silent Data when on-chain activity needs to remain private as well as self-custodied.

The questions we get asked first.

Is it genuinely self-custody?
Yes. The key pair is generated on the customer's own device and the private half stays in its secure hardware. Neither you nor Applied Blockchain can move funds on a customer's behalf, because neither of us ever holds the key that authorises it.
What happens if a customer loses their phone?
Passkeys sync through the platform keychain the customer already uses, so signing in on a replacement device restores access without a recovery phrase.
Do customers have to pay gas?
No. Your application funds the fee for the transactions it approves, so your customer never buys or holds a native token. You control what you fund, because you control what you approve.
What does integrating involve?
Your application installs a package and names a wallet origin, which is your own domain. Your customer installs nothing.
Which blockchains does it work on?
The public EVM networks, and Silent Data. Passkey signatures are verified on chain through a verifier deployed to the same address on every network, so one integration carries across them rather than being rebuilt per chain.
Can we run it ourselves?
Yes. The contracts are MIT licensed and public on GitHub. Most institutions bring us in for the integration and for someone to call, but the code is not a black box and never will be.
