In the six or so years since, I have come to know the brilliant technologist who is a world-leading expert on implementing what traders, regulated enterprise and commodities need so they can leverage blockchain technology. Back then, I had no idea then how much more I had to learn about the world of hashtag#web3, open developer ecosystems and the potential of decentralized collaboration to build a better commodities system. It has been an extraordinary adventure with some of the coolest humans on the journey alongside us. I loved this conversation with Adi because he knows the two worlds we both straddle so well and does a great job of navigating the important why, how and whats of Watr Protocol."

Article: Can Blockchain Help with ESG?

The quality of the ESG data is a major problem, as it is usually self-reported, or provided by a third party, with no technical guarantees of the authenticity or accuracy of the data.

One possible way to improve the quality of ESG data is to derive it directly from the sensors and devices that monitor supply chains, cryptographically signed at source, and record it in a verifiable and immutable manner, thereby avoiding human hands that could modify or manipulate it.
